Are you a High School Student looking for Community Service Hours? Register today to help out at STEAM Lab an after school program for children 7-10 years old.

All volunteers must complete the Community Service Application and Contract Form prior to volunteering at the Library. Volunteers who register but have not completed the Application Form may have their registration cancelled. 

Volunteers for this program will earn 2-hours of Community Service each of the 7-weeks. You will be asked to...

1. Prepare program materials
2. Tidy up program materials
3. Providing 1-1 or small group support during reading, an activity, or craft
4. Role model appropriate behaviour

1. Be on time and reliable – Show up when you’re supposed to and follow through with your responsibilities.
2. Be responsible and dedicated – Do your tasks well and take them seriously.

4. Dress and act appropriately – Wear the right clothes and behave in a professional way at all times.
5. Keep things private – Don’t share personal information about patrons, staff, or other volunteers.
