Any time a movie can take a historical event and turn it into a complete twist, that’s a win in my book and keeps me hooked. These movies (as well as the Godzilla reboot) do that to a tee. If you’re looking for a great series to get your adrenaline going then this is the series for you!

Streaming on Hulu and AMZ

Directed by the director who directed another movie as a director.

Pure garbage where once you strip away all of the GCI it's an unbearable movie with characters that really stink.

Strictly for the under-15 set who never think anything through.

Directed by Michael Bay in 2011 as the 3rd installment of the series and set three years after 2009's "Revenge of the Fallen", this American SF action drama follows the warring Autobots and Decepticons as they battle to possess powerful technology from their homeworld that had crashed on Earth's moon.
The first hooking sequences appear fascinating and promising, but the rest of the film seems down at heel.
Although the visual effects look great, the storyline lets me down with lousy characters like Carly Spencer and Jerry Wang, who appear as nothing but distractions.

Got tired of the "crash and bang".

It was ok, a little bleak and not fun.

This movie is far and away better than Revenge of the Fallen, and feels much more tense and emotionally invested. I just would've wished that Megan Fox had been able to reprise her role... for continuity's sake.

It was very difficult to become invested in a self-righteous character that was at once both an irrelevant mail room clerk & presidential medal recipient. The special effects are totally over the top; it's a CGI test reel straight from Digital Domain. The problem with the story is that I didn't care about the outcome & it was sometimes difficult to identify the "good" & "bad" guys; however, I would have been very engaged if everything had just blown up at the end - Boom, gone! Now that would be unpredictable.

Not the best of the Transformers movies, although it is still decent. The humans and Autobots discover a piece of technology that was found during the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. During the Apollo 11 mission, a large ship was found and inside it was Optimus Prime’s old mentor, Sentinel Prime. Tensions between Autobots and humans are high and the Autobots supposedly leave earth. Things go awry when the Decepticons attack as the humans are unable to handle them. An unexpected traitor is also part of the attack. Also, a new villain features in this movie named “Shockwave”. The latter part of the movie consists of a long battle and is pretty action packed. Expect a few surprises in this movie.

I like the special effects more than I like the real human actors .

This is a great film about intelligent robots or aliens that battle each other for domination that are better or for worse. They are distinguished into two groups called Autobots whom are the good robots protecting humans and Decepticons striving for world domination and extinction. These robots transform into any vehicle or technological device and that’s why they’re called Transformers. My opinion on this movie is this was a great and amazing movie that is enjoyable for the family and anyone that loves action movies. I really liked the action scenes with the Autobots and Decepticons fighting each other. Also, I liked the actors in this movie as they performed their role greatly and made it believable. Action scenes were fantastic especially when these robots clash together allowing only one victor to survive. There were many comedic moments that made the movie even better. Also, actors such as Shia Labeuof were an amazing in this film as he performed both action and comedic aspects. The CGI of the robots were outstanding as I saw each of the main protagonists and antagonists robots interacting with humans and each other and when they transformed into vehicles and other technological devices. The Director, Michael Bay did a fantastic job on the making of this film and giving fans and others a movie that will leave them surprised and amazed. Overall, this was a great movie to watch, I would recommend this to anyone that would like to watch an action movie and or anyone that haven’t watched this movie yet.

The final battle in Chicago went on too long. It taught me that there is such thing as too much action.

Yawn! Wake me up when it's finally over!

The horrible truth is - If you've seen one of these blasted Transformer movies, then, by golly, you've seen them all. It's true.

Fantastic battle scenes and staggering carnage aside, these frickin' Transformer movies all suck to the 10th power. The stories are all the same, the characters are always the same, and at 2.5 hours of running time, if you don't fast forward about every 5 minutes, then you're setting yourself up for an unbearable endurance test that's sure to out do all other endurance tests.

I think it's absolutely despicable that the director of this crap actually stooped to using footage of former US President, John F. Kennedy, in the story. My guess is that this underhanded ploy was intended to give some sort of notable significance to the totally empty-headed story and get people to pay attention.

Ho-hum!..... If they ever dare to make another one of these pieces of trash (and I'm sure that #4 is now in the making), I wouldn't watch it even if you paid me to do so. I really wouldn't.

not as good as the first, but better than the very raunchy second movie. MANY swear words, a ton of adult content and references and a boring story that doesn't even add up when compared to the real timeline of transformers history. very disappointing and honestly, I still say that battleship was better. Not for younger audiences and definitely not for young transformers fans. Plus, Sentinel never piloted the Ark!!!, Optimus did and it was way bigger!. Besides the idea for the cybertron to earth portal thingy came from the first couple of transformers episodes of the 70/80's! and where do all the new guys come from?? not a good movie.
