Some editions of this book have typos which yield disappointing results. In general, this book is a good start for beginners and explains how to use what you have to eat gluten free rather than purchasing pre-boxed foods. Others have commented that the recipes required premade flours. I did not find this to be the case. The author also has a website with additional recipes. The brown bag apple pie and bagel recipes are favorites in our house.

All of these recipes use a purchased gluten-free flour mix.

Good for those who are not familiar with Gluten free cooking. All based on pre- bought flour mixes though.
