By this time, I really felt as though I was reading out of obligation, not interest anymore. I kind of just want to know what happens, and the process can be partially lost to me if anything. I would probably compare this to the "Pretty Little Liars" TV show: something that was stretched a bit too much. Or way too much. The ending was a good bridge though, avid readers who get there may feel more of an interest to pursue the next book, but I don't really want to. Ethan just isn't relatable to me at all. I am not sure yet, but I hope the next book is the last. 3.5/5 Stars.

Kierran how could you! No! You were my favorite character! Please find redemption!
Still absolutely love Puck and Ash- they're so great!
SO Kierran has Winter pissed because he killed the spirit of the Frozen Wood, Summer because he physically fought the Queen in the middle of the courtroom, and now Ethan (and everyone else) for choosing the Forgotten and exiles like Annwyl over family. Seriously, what the heck.

Can't wait to read it. The author is a genius.

I really liked this book. When I first read The Lost Prince, I wasn't sure about Ethan as a character, but I like him a lot better here. I don't really like Kierran though. But the ending. WHY??? I have to wait another year for the sequel now :(

“What? I never make things worse," Puck replied, stepping forward to deal with another eddy swooshing in from the side. "I make things more interesting.”
