5 of 5 stars “Love, mystery, intrigue: A Lady Most Lovely" has it all.”
“A Lady Most Lovely” by Jennifer Delamere in the Love’s Grace series
Historical romance centers on Margaret Vaughan and Tom Poole, attracted to each other from the start even though Margaret’s engaged to wealthy Paul Denault. Tom and Margaret have conflicts that appear insolvable and experience the true-to-life emotions of those in love but who don’t believe they are meant to be together. Intrigue and mystery surround all the characters, which keeps the reader turning the pages.
As the second book in the Love’s Grace Series, Delamere makes references to people and events in the first book, “An Heiress at Heart.” It isn’t necessary to have read that book, but readers are sure to want to read it and see how the saga first began. A must read for those interested in a Christian-based love story.
5 of 5 stars “Great sequel to An Heiress at Heart."
Jennifer Delamere is a wonderful, very original author who works within the framework of historical romance.
I enjoyed every bit of this book and couldn't put it down as I wanted to know what would happen next.
Tom Poole is a great complex character doing his best to live according to the scriptures, yet he has to overcome his past history and old habits. Margaret Vaughan has her walls to break down to accept what she really wants in life, which makes it very interesting to see how she develops.
5 of 5 stars “Reminded me of Gone With The Wind!"
SO GOOD!!! I read book one in the Love's Grace series three weeks ago. I found myself wanting to return to the good author Jennifer Delamere. This book gave me the same feeling about the main characters I had when I read Gone With The Wind. So Scarlett and Rhett-esque! Very satisfying, I was able to know this "Rhett" better. Really great book. You'll definitely want to read An Heiress at Heart first.
