I really enjoyed this story! I was a big fan of two of Wilson's other books: "The Dog Who Danced" and "One Good Dog." This story takes place post World War Ii. For those who've been critical of the use of expletives in Wilson's other works, this book has less harsh language. As typical in Wilson's books, the characters are expeiencing heavy-duty lfe issues, made more bareable by the companionship of an exceptional dog.
