The Paladin Prophecy by Mark Frost introduces an entirely different cast of characters. Young Will who is on the run from a shadowy organization which has abducted his parents. Brooke who struggles to uphold the legacy of her parents and meet their expectations. Elise, a mysterious musician whose talent is unparalleled and who has just recently lost someone she cares about. Jovial Nick whose body and soul is limber due to a built up resistance to the vagaries of life. And Ajay, the genius whose small stature belies the size of his intellect. Their stories collide in a boarding school where each discovers that the others are an integral part in discovering just who they are.

There was so much information packed into the book and I had to read it slowly. Basically every part of this book was interesting and I loved it. I would recommend it to any teenager, or anyone, actually. Nick was definitely my favourite character. He's so funny.

I thought The Paladin Prophecy was very awesome. It kept me in the dark most of the time which made it fun. I would definitly reccomend this series to Maze Runner fans. The humor was hilarious, say hello to my fav characters: Nick, Ajay, and Dave!

This was very hard to read through. The climax was boring. Seeing how girls seem to a teenage heterosexual white boy didn't really help. Things that are discovered are never touched upon again until the last chapter, the characters are pretty bland, especially the girls. And to Will, our main, over-powered protag, there isn't anything really bad about the girls. All they are are perfect, pretty and have daddy issues. The only part I kinda liked was the world building parts. When he was going through the school and all that.

A fun, fast-paced take on this genre. The characters are fun, intelligent and sound (mostly) like the teenagers they are.

I am adding "The Center" to the list of elite, special boarding schools I wish I had gone to.
