Davey is a 17 year-old girl abruptly relocated by her grieving mother to the strange 'atom bomb' town of Los Alamos, New Mexico. With the sudden and violent death of her father, the displaced Davey no longer knows who to be or how to fit in. Everything that once mattered suddenly seems insignificant. But when she meets Wolf, a mysterious young Native-American, while exploring the surrounding canyons, she feels he is able to see past her pain and into her true self.

Bad, bad movie. Happy Hanukkah! Really! Is that the best she can come up with!? It's Merry Christmas, not that Jewish stuff. Don't insult our LORD.
The Movie had a bad plot, bad clothing, and the story goes nowhere. Don't waste your time watching this movie. Not at all recommended.

Wonderful movie, it hits the mark about loss, grieving and finding your place and who you are. 9/10

Some might find this movie slow--there are long scenes without dialogue, with many closeups of Tiger/Davy's face. I liked it, and I was moved to tears often. Tatanka Means (as Wolf/Martin) and his father Russell Means are especially good here.

Wonderful story for teens or anyone, suffering any loss of a beloved father, to learn that by going through the mourning, grief resolves itself. Beautifully written and directed but, the casting director was the only shortcoming, as the actors didn't seem the appropriate ages for their characters. It was a challenge to see the main character as a teenaged person, in her appearance and body language.

Slow quiet movie. Her mother leans on her sister/ Tiger's Aunt who takes control of their life for a short time but eventually gets her emotional strength to recover and get back the reigns of her small family life after a tragic loss.

I was also very pleasantly surprised. And there's a surprise celebrity in it - one you would not suspect at all :-)

lovely, gentle movie about the grief of two young people, each mourning the death of a loving father.

Two teens from different families and different cultures learn to live with the death of a parent. One is white and one is native American. We get to learn a little about both cultures and how they deal with relatives and friends as they live through their current "life adventure."
