Great, if the reader likes shooting, explosions and destruction. Interesting but not always factual is some background.

This is not an easy read, but if you have a basic grasp of Greek mythology, it's entertaining

The Lost Temple is about an ex-Special Forces soldier, a brilliant Oxford professor and a beautiful Greek archaeologist who are plunged into a labyrinth of ancient cults, forgotten mysteries and lost civilization, taking place in and around Crete in the 1940's.

They spend considerable time trying to decipher a code found on a tablet during an archaeological dig.

A very well-researched historical novel.
