There are a lot of things that aren't...great in this teen vampire romance novel (namely the writing) but it's gonna grab you and not let you go until you read every single book in the series.

I don't get why so many people despise this series! Some parts are a bit boring, but overall this story was great. I watched the movie trailer, and personally it was a bit cringy, especially Edward.
Meyer doesn't use advanced vocabulary, so it's not one of those books that you need to get up every 15 minutes to search up a word, which has good sides and bad ones.
But, I still give this book(and the whole series) 5 stars.

I would rate Twilight by Stephenie Meyer 5/5 stars. This book is incredible and definitely a must read! I instantly fell in love with Edward and his mysterious persona. I enjoyed the love story throughout this book; Edward would do anything to protect Bella. I enjoyed how a typical YA romance story was given a fantasy-like twist; the “Bad Boy” at school falls in love with the innocent, quirky girl, but he knows they can’t be together, but their love is too strong to separate them, except, he is a vampire. Edwards thirst for Bella’s blood makes you wonder if he actually loves her, or if he just wants her to trust him enough so that drinking her blood becomes easy, and not so much of a hunting job. But, at the end of the book , a certain event really shows us that Edward loves her more than anything and would never hurt her in any way. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series, and I’m really anticipating New Moon, written in Edward’s POV. I recommend this book for people age 14 and older, especially if you are a fan of The Hunger Games or Divergent.

Twilight by Mayer, Stephanie is a story of vampire themed fantasy and romance. It starts with Bella, the main female character who moves to Washington and later falls in love with a 104 year old vampire named Edward Cullen. I most enjoy romance novels so this novel was well written in that area. Since it was a vampire theme, it was as well spot on with the typical vampire tales. It was a very interesting read, however it would begin to get a bit boring if read many times. I would rate this novel a 7 out of 10! @YoumnaLovesBooks of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

This book was addictive, romantic, and it's filled with bits of action. I have watched all the movies and I finally decided to read the books which was a great choice because now I can understand the characters better. Twilight is the typical forbidden romance between a human and a vampire. It might sound corny, but it turned out to be pretty good. Better than I expected really. The characters were relatable, and they were all described perfectly. I didn’t agree with the choices the main character, Bella Swan did. But we must get in mind that she was the typical stubborn teenage girl. I found the romance to be cute and romantic, not once did I roll my eyes. The author wrote about vampires in a way that made them look like they existed for millions of years, it almost made me believe in them. There are a lot of negative reviews of Twilight but that didn’t stop me from reading this. The things Edward would do to protect Bella made me smile and wish for someone like Edward. This showed that love is not just about romance, it is about sacrifices. I give it a 4 out of 5. @Nat of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

The novel Twilight by Stephanie Meyer is a thrilling love story about vampires and humans. Edward, a good vampire, meets Bella an ordinary girl and they fall in love. Of course, this love comes with many different complications. It is such a suspenseful book that you won’t be able to put down. It was such an amazing book that it was even made into a movie. The only thing that I didn’t love about the book was the writing in some parts but other than that it was great. I would recommend this book for sure!

A classic paranormal romance novel, Twilight is a fantastic read. The novel follows Bella Swan as she moves to a small town named Forks, located in Washington, to live with her father. Upon attending the local high school, Bella meets the mysterious and attractive Edward Cullen. Though Edward is cold toward Bella in the beginning, they soon fall for one another. Midway through the book it is revealed that Edward and his family are vampires, causing conflict and exposing Bella to several dangerous situations. I have read this book at least four times, and loved it every time. However, it is not without its controversy: the main character can be irritating, the main love interest is many decades older than Bella, and there are actions taken by several characters that can be described as creepy. Still, this book has an excellent plot, good description, and well-developed characters. I’d say that the best age group for this novel would be 13+, maybe 11 or 12+ if the reader is more mature (especially considering that the last book has some inappropriate content for younger readers).

The Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer is an intriguing romance/ fantasy novel with fictional characters. New student Bella Swan seems lost at her new high school until she meets a mysterious guy who she soon finds out is a vampire. The series covers the different obstacles they overcome regarding love, friendship, and family. This exciting adventure is a good read for anyone interested in romance.

Despite the critism Twilight is a fantastic novel which I highly recommend reading. I myself was a little skeptical at first but after the first page I found myself admiring Stephanie Meyer’s writing style. She made her novel an easy to read one where you don’t have to think too much about the meaning behind everything. The writing style isn’t the best part though, I believe the plot is well written too. It goes from a girls whose life you may think is boring into blissful romance and fantasy themed storyline. Personally I love a good twist and romance in my novels and if you do too then Twilight is the novel for you. 3 stars

Twilight is about a girl named Bella who moves to from Arizona to Washington to be with her dad. At first, she isn't happy because Washington is so cloudy and cold compared to sunny Arizona. During her first few days of school she meets someone named Edward, who she later finds out to be a vampire. As their friendship begins to grow, Bella begins to realize she may have feelings for him. Edward warns of the risks she is putting herself in by being with him. I would recommend it for anyone who likes romance mixed with a bit of action.

About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was part of him — and I didn’t know how potent that part might be — that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.
