Another fun read, that flows well, with a nice surprising ending. I enjoyed this book, one of the better ones in this particular series.

It feels like a blending of "the Practice" meets "Sex in the City" but it doesn't live up to either of their standards of sensationalism or implausibility.

Probably only of interest to those who are fan's of the "Women's Murder Club" series (That started with 1st to Die). It revolves around four women who are involved with crime in various professions; A homicide detective, an assistant DA, a medical examiner and a crime journalist. The focus is on their lives more than it is the various cases they investigate.

I would like to have the audio book. It is the only one in the series that does not have the audio book.

"These kids are show-offy smart." Joe said. "Quidquid latin dictum sit, altum videtur." -- "And that means what?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. Did everyone know Latin but me? -- Joe flashed me a grin. "It means, `Anything said in Latin sounds profound.`"
