As most second additions to series come along, they usually don't overpower the first books in any field except for the element of suspense. The plot in this book changes as Kitty Doe, now the look-alike daughter of the most powerful man of the country, faces even greater threats. Her adaptation to her new life evolves, and I as a reader liked the original idea in the first book better. Nonetheless, this book was fast-paced and well-written, throwing in a huge curveball no reader in the first book could have seen coming. What new, undeniably difficult challenge will Lila/ Kitty face next? Who will come to her aid? How will she react? The simplicity to these question will leave you shocked at the elaborate answers, revealed in this book. 4.5/5 - @Siri of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
