Elizabeth Davis: [At the NTSB investigation proceedings] First Officer Skiles, is there anything you'd like to add? Anything... you would have done differently if you... had to do it again?
Jeff Skiles: Yes. I would've done it in July.

Tense, well cast movie, as one would expect from Clint Eastwood.
Good portrayal of a heart warming true life story.
2nd time on watching this movie and it was just as good to watch the 2nd time around. Another masterpiece done by Mr. Eastwood. You indeed have a God given gift/talent for storytelling. To do this all through the 3 different "wearing of the hats" in theatre (Director, Producer and but not in this case, Actor) is indeed amazing but especially more so for one that is in their golden years. We, society, needs to hear and see more of these "Miracle - based on true story" movies and they need to be done in such a unique way that makes a person think and reflect on the bigger picture. Well done to all involved in making this movie - a needed inspiration for all to see as things are not always as they seem/or appear to be. Oh, if only life could be a scripted as movies. Good job everyone. Indeed a good "Thanksgiving" movie to see.
5 Stars for the Hero, Sully Sullinberger, and one star for the cracker-jack director, script writer and (past being able to put out great films anymore), Clint Eastwood who allowed a weeny film to be made about a great, fast thinking, feet on the ground pilot who saved 155 lives. (Clint messed up "The 14:17 to Paris" film in this exact same way). The first 5 and the last 10 min were fine but I wanted more...more information, background, more about the man, himself. Instead, we get Hank (whose always good), with a perpetual lined forehead and high blood pressure and no descent script to bounce off from. They did have a one liner I liked, "Its been a 'long' time since N.Y. got any good news. Especially about a plane". I got the message that human's tend to look for the worst in ourselves and other's. All too often we just stop there and don't make ourselves aware of the good...thus, the lines and high blood pressure!

Directed by Clint Eastwood in 2016, this American docudrama delves into the investigation of the emergency landing of US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson River.
It shows an untold story behind the miracle on the Hudson.
Riveting, engaging and fascinating!
Another vanity project from Clint Eastwood that was actually good thanks in part to a great performance from Tom Hanks!
Tom Hanks trying to look serious just managed to look grumpy. Not Tom-Hanksy enough for me.
Where do I begin? This is a truly wonderful movie and I was glad that they made it because I never really knew the story of how it all unfolded. Tom Hanks was amazing in this film and he was very believable as Sully. Definitely an emotional and inspiring movie!
