A film that perpetuates lies, and should have gone into the trash where it belongs. It paints a disastrously unrealistic picture of what it is like to be in rehab. The author has admitted making things up - for example, no one would ever be sent for extensive dental work without anesthesia, a nightmare that the author reports as truth in the form of a personal memoir.

Seeking help for addiction is a tough thing to do, and a film like this will not improve the chances that people who need treatment will get the help they need.

A 2020 DRAMA movie. A drug addicted alcoholic life of violence, denial and therapy. Not my bag of popcorn.
