I will never be able to express how much love I feel for this game. There are so many well placed details and nods to past games in the series. The music is beautiful and the puzzles can be challenging. You can easily get lost in this rendition of Hyrule and discover so much that you forget there is a story line. Even after beating the main story and the DLC multiple times I can still find things on the map I never noticed before. With 120 shrines and 900 Korok seeds to find and not to mention a good number of mini bosses spread around the map, there is no way you can get bored.

The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild is a masterpiece of a game that was published by Nintendo in 2017. With striking graphics and immersive gameplay this game is truly a 10/10. From the diversity of the music, enemies, and scenery, to the high quality gameplay mechanics this game will have you logging in as many hours as possible. Boasting the 2017 Game Of The Year Award for its great story and attention to detail, this masterpiece can never be recreated. Saving the Princess, Kingdom, and the World has never been done better. From shrines to swords, armour to Bokoblin hordes, no game has ever had as much attention to detail given my its maker. I just can’t stress enough how good of a game this is!

P.S. running around Hyrule half naked at the beginning of the game is by far the best part!

...seriously, I cannot discourage you heartily enough. If you borrow this game:

• Addictive gameplay will keep you up all night, possibly several in a row.

• Stunning cel-shaded environments will make the real world seem limp and lifeless by comparison.

• A loosely structured storyline will teach you to appreciate the little things in life and question the path that has been laid out before you.

• Link's striking physique will tempt you into running shirtless around Hyrule.

• The sheer quality of this masterpiece will leave a empty feeling in your belly when you try to play anything else.

Worst of all, if you borrow this game... I will have to wait even longer to check it out again.

Let's review: no sleep, cel-shading, existential crisis, uncomfortable feelings for an animated character, hollow gut, trying my patience.

Don't borrow it. Thank you. I mean you're welcome.

I haven't played a Legend of Zelda game since the N64 era, since I didn't get a Wii and Wii U. But let me tell you, this game is a masterpiece. Now I understand all the high scores that were given to this game.

I didn't think I'd waste my time doing any of the side-quests, like seriously, the world is about to end by the hands of Calamity Ganon and you want me to help you catch 10 crickets? But man I ended up doing most of the side-quests anyway. I wanted to get the most out of this game as I could. During my off days from work, I realized I had played this game for 24 hours straight. Time just flew by.

No wonder this won "Game of the Year" in 2017. An open-world "Mastapece."

This is what gaming has led up to. For all those who don't know there was a video game called the Legend of Zelda that came out in 1986 that changed everything. It was the first open world game and made a genre of video games with its debut. All these years later Breath of the Wild follows along with this format throwing you into an open world where you can explore all you want. If you want to play the game in a linear fashion then you can do that as well, but you will miss out. If you are someone who loves exploration this is for you, and truly that is the best advice to someone wanting to try this game. Don't go where the game suggests if you want to further the story, go wherever you want, there is so much adventure to be had.
