Through over 250 photographs (plus plenty of informative text) - (hockey hero) Wayne Gretzky (in collaboration with John Davidson) tells the whole story about how he (starting out as a young whippersnapper from Brantford, Ontario) went on to become the greatest, most widely-admired NHL hockey player of all time.

Even if you're not much of a hockey fan - "99 - My Life In Pictures" is still well-worth a look at the incredible 21-year career of one of Canada's most notable sports figures, ever.

This book's publication in 1999, of course, coincides with Gretzky's official retirement from the game in that same year.
