Our whole family loves this book. So funny! I relate to the chickens - their fear is their own demise with hilarious results!

A HUGE favorite of my young grandson! Four big chickens are frightened by a wolf in their barnyard. After getting themselves into various troubles, they find they are really big, brave chickens when directly faced with danger!
Opportunities for the young reader to participate with repetitious sounds and verse.
A terrific children's book!

Hilarious illustrations in a funny book. I love reading this one over and over to my daughter.

Funny story that lends itself to dramatic voices and general goofiness. A quartet of chickens seem to be afraid of everything, but in the end they find their chicken courage. My 4-year-old is a big fan.
