As a non-stop talker myself, I absolutely adored this book! Lacey the owl talks all of the time. She gets shushed often by those around her. One day she wakes up and her voice is gone. At first she is upset, but then she realizes how much work she gets done and how much she enjoys listening. When she wakes up the next day, she has her voice back. She still talks and talks and talks. But now she realizes how much she likes to take breaks and listen to others. The illustrations are cute and colorful. The story is simple and straightforward making it appropriate for preschool ages and up. I highly recommend this book.
