High School Musical is a classic movie that everyone loves. I liked how they showed the issues and struggles of a high school student. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are the perfect fit for the roles no one could have played Troy and Gabriella better than them. The songs are really good but I didn't like how they made a song about the most random things. Even though I didn't like that about the songs they are still catchy and good. My favorite songs are “Breaking Free” and “We’re All In This Together.” High School Musical is a movie for any age and I think all ages would love this movie. I rate this movie a 4.5/5. - @doglover of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board High School Musical is the typical Disney movie every teenager has watched at least once in their life. It’s about a guy named Troy who is the typical popular school athlete, and a girl named Gabrielle, who is really smart. They both join the school musical, and become really good friends, which made a lot of girls jealous. This movie is also about other students who are part of the high school musical, for example; Sharpay, Ryan, Chad, and many more. This movie has three sequels in total, and all of them are worth watching. The songs in all of the high school musical movies will make you dance, and sing along with them. I would rate this movie 5/5 stars. - @bluesky of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board If you like music, theatre, sports, and some drama, then High School Musical matches your tastes! High School Musical is about two high school students, Troy and Gabriella, who fall in love with each other. They meet during a New Years party and sing together. Later on they find out that they are in the same high school and because of Troy, Gabriella auditions for the theatre show, and because of Gabriella, Troy auditions as well. Basketball is Troy's biggest focus, being the son of the coach, and he is embarrassed to audition... but together they have a long way to go... - @mockingbird of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library After watching High School Musical, I came to the conclusion that it is a good movie, but not as good as the second and third. This movie follows the life of Troy Bolten and how his life is changed throughout his high school years. He meets a girl named Gabriella, and she and him eventually get inspired to sing at East High. I liked this movie because it was interesting to see how Troy's friends reacted when they found out he wants to sing in school. He is the captain of the Basketball team, after all! This movie was not my favourite of all time, because at some times it got boring, but the acting was exceptionally good, especially for the ages of all the young actors. I would recommend this movie if you like musicals. I would rate it a 3.5/5. - @Montgomery of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library High School Musical is a classic Disney channel movie featuring hit actors and actresses like Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Zac Efron, Corbin Bleu, and more. Although high school isn’t actually singing and dancing or anything like this movie at all, this is still such a fun movie to watch and sing and dance along to with friends. It'll definitely make you wish that high school was actually like this. It’s a little bit of a cliche teen movie but it’s super cute and fun to watch anyway. I would definitely recommend it to other teens and rate it 4/5 stars. - @reginaphalange of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
