Take one independent heroine in Clio, one lonely and forgotten second son who happens to be a champion prizefighter in Rafe, a castle, plans for a brewery, meddlesome families, and an eldery bulldog, and you have a fun, sexy, and ultimately very touching romance. Much of what the book focuses on is the need we all have for love, and to be seen for who we are, rather than who others want us to be; Clio and Rafe want to make their own way, and their own decisions, in life. I might suggest this is a book best read in the privacy of your own home, as the deliciously steamy sex scenes are sure to make you blush. Much more successful than the first in the series, ROMANCING THE DUKE, which featured an unrelated cast of characters.
